Privacy Policy

Data Controller

Supatier (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by an individual developer based in Queensland, Australia. For privacy inquiries or GDPR data requests, please email [email protected]. Your use of Supatier is also governed by our User Agreement, which include additional conditions regarding content, eligibility, and dispute resolution.

1. What We Collect

  • Email address: When you create an account or sign in.
  • Usage data: Such as pages visited, time on site, device/browser type, IP address.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on:

  • Consent: When you sign up and agree to this policy.
  • Legitimate interest: To provide, secure, and improve the service.

3. How We Use It

  • Provide and improve the service.
  • Authenticate you and manage your account. We also use IP address and device/browser information to track active sessions and let you see or revoke them if necessary.
  • Monitor usage and detect abuse or bugs.
  • Communicate essential updates (e.g., service changes).
  • If we ever decide to send promotional emails, we will only do so with your explicit opt‑in consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and understand how people use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.

Future non‑essential cookies (e.g. for advertising) will only be set with your consent. You'll be able to manage these through a cookie banner or settings panel when/if implemented.

When you interact with embedded third-party content (such as Twitter widgets), those third parties may place their own cookies or tracking technologies on your device. Supatier does not control these technologies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies:

5. Data Access & Deletion

Users may delete their own tier lists at any time using built-in tools on the Supatier platform. However, template content (used to generate tier lists) may be archived instead of deleted, in order to preserve the functionality of tier lists derived from those templates.

If a template contains personal information or was created in error, users may request removal by contacting us at [email protected]. We will evaluate each request and take appropriate action in line with legal and platform considerations.

For all other personal data access, correction, or deletion requests, please email us at the same address. We will respond as promptly as reasonably possible.

6. User Rights

  • Right to access and obtain a copy of your data.
  • Right to rectify incorrect information.
  • Right to restrict or object to processing under applicable laws.
  • Right to data portability.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active or as needed for compliance with legal obligations. When you request deletion of your account, we remove data from active systems within 30 days of the request, and backups are purged within 90 days.

8. Third Parties

We don't sell your data. We only share it with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) necessary to run Supatier, or if required by law. For details on how we handle third-party websites and content you may encounter while using Supatier, please refer to Section 12 of our User Agreement.

We use trusted service providers, including hosting platforms and content delivery networks, to help operate and improve Supatier. These providers may process personal data on our behalf in accordance with contractual data protection obligations.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored outside your country. Whenever personal data is transferred cross‑border, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards—such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses (for transfers from the EEA) or other contractual or statutory mechanisms—to ensure your rights and protections travel with your data.

10. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

11. Age Restriction

Supatier is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Regional Privacy Laws

  • European Users (GDPR): As outlined in our Data Controller section and User Rights, we comply with GDPR requirements for EU users.
  • California Residents (CCPA): We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, disclosed, or sold; the right to request deletion of personal information; and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (though we do not sell personal information). For more details, see Section 16 of our User Agreement.

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the site or via email.
